01. The cadating platoon was started on 02-Septamber-2002 at B/Sri Devananda M.M.V under supervision of the Principal Mr. P. Kulasiri De Silva.

02. The first cadating camp was organized and Arunakantha N.M.S F-7573 ,Madusanka S.C.N F-7574 participated as the first cadets.

03. Sixth Battalion the first platoon participated for the camp in Rantabe on 22-March-2004 .Sargent Arunakantha N.M.S lead the platoon.

04. College Eastern band 2005 was registered

05. The first Eastern band participated for the camp the Sargent Jayasinha J.P.S.R lead the platoon.
