It is with much pride and honor that I would like to bring a massage on the date of laughed collage website on this day it is my duty to mention about the collage history. according to the collage history the founder of this this collage was Rev. Kandegedera Devananda thero who had a great effort to establish this collage which is now passing eighty fifth year. Twenty one principals had served in this collage through the best management process and the dedication of the staff this collage became one of the most famous Navodya school in Sri Lanka. So many past pupils gone out from this collage.
This fantastic and panoramic school which has cool atmosphere is situated at Mirahawatta village in Welimada electorate division in Badulla district. One thousand six hundred students and seventy six teachers make the collage a panoramic view. Primary section , Joiner section and Senior section which has Art, Commerce, Science, Home Science, , Maths , Aesthetic and Electronic lines are established in this college which shows good record in O/L,A/L and Scholarship examination results in Welimada Educational Zone.
The co-curricular activities done by students make a better progress in students in gaining National level achievements I am happy to state that international sport champions also produced in this college. Annually more than ten students are selected for higher education.In 2008 two students are selected for medicine and engineering faculties.
Our mission is not only to produce knowledgeable pupils but also to produce skillful , talented,moral and spiritual students to access to technological world. These rural students improve their competencies through information technology which is limited to urban schools.Rural students upgrade their ICT talents from browsing internet. As a results of the ICT skills this college website is created by web team. I hope these talents guide them to better tomorrow by facing challenges
